And the winners are...

Estão entregues os prémios da 48ª edição dos American Music Awards (AMAs)! A cerimónia decorreu este domingo (22), no Microsoft Theater em Los Angeles e foi uma noite com algumas surpresas...

The Weeknd e Roddy Ricch lideravam as nomeações em oito categorias cada mas foi Taylor Swift que ganhou o grande prémio de Artista do Ano. A cantora arrecadou também os galardões de Videoclipe Favorito (com "Cardigan") e de Artista Feminina Favorita Pop/Rock.

Entre outros, The Weeknd levou o prémio de Melhor Álbum de Soul/R&B - prémio esse que dedicou a Prince. "A última vez que recebi este prémio foi pelas mãos do já falecido Prince. Ele é a razão de eu me desafiar sempre dentro do género do R&B e queria dedicar-lhe este prémio!", agradeceu o cantor.

Depois de 4 anos ausente, Justin Bieber voltou ao palco dos AMAs e abriu o evento com "Lonely", "Holy" e pela primeira vez ao vivo, "Monster", ao lado de Shawn Mendes. No final, ainda recebeu o prémio de Artista Masculino Favorito Pop/Rock (além dos de Música Favorita Country e Colaboração do Ano, ao lado de Dan + Shay com "10,000 Hours").

Destaque ainda para outras performances da noite - entre elas a do grupo sul-coreano BTS, de Dua Lipa, de Katy Perry, de Jennifer Lopez, de Maluma e de Billie Eilish (que apresentou também, pela primeira vez, o single "Therefore I Am" ao lado do irmão Finneas).

Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, Cardi B, BTS, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Jonas Brothers e Harry Styles também não sairam de mãos a abanar mas confere a lista completa dos vencedores dos AMAs 2020:
